New users can run the demo to see the earth, the moon and so on. One problem we had in our test was fullscreen mode (press Command+F on Mac), which did not work very well. Fortunately, everything else seemed to work without problems.

We are not astronauts or astronomy experts, but Celestia seems like a fantastic application if you want to study galaxies or planets. Since it is free, we think it is definitely worth a try. Amazing what you can do with computers today, right?
