Complete tutorial on how to hack ps3, written by me, tbone.
FOLDERS
Firmware - Has both official and custom firmware, already in the proper format, just copy/paste
Tools - Has multiMAN extras and usb drivers for the ps3 controller. Just an added bonus. You will also find the file zilla.exe windows application here. for convience.
Themes - This folder is already setup for copy and paste, and includes 61 different dynamic themes for you to use in your sony XMB (NOT MULTIMAN THEMES) THESE ARE DIFFERENT
Apps - Has other managers in it including GAIA and Rogero both most recent versions.
MultiMAN - Has the install packages for multiMAN. Copy all 4 to root of USB drive and run then in order, multiman1, then 2. so on and so forth. If you copy just these 4 files, then hit triangle on the install packages icon, you should be able to install all, and if it asks to overwrite just say yes. this is why I named them into order. If theres an issue, just do it one by one. its only 4 files.
Games - I Included 3 of my most played PSN games. They are also in order for install like multiMAN above. the .pkg's have to be installed in order, and they are named as such. Again, the install all packages should work but remember all packages need to be at USB: <- ROOT of the drive, not in any folder
(If you download other psn games you will notice game.install.pkg, game.patch.pkg, and game.crack.pkg they will always install in that order. install, then patch, last crack.)
The games are plants vs zombies, NHL 3on3 and Mercury HG.
Packages - This includes the common tools you will use and 2 goodies for fun. You may copy all 7 files to the USB: root and use the install all feature, no conflicts here.
The packages are super nintendo emulator, gameboy emulator, bdrom reset, bdrom emulator, blackbox ftp, last game played and lv2 patcher.
USB Folder - See below
The following files should always be on the root of your USB device. They are in the USB folder.
They are USB.CFG and options_default.ini
