How to change, update, reflash firmware in DJI Mavic Mini?

The firmware updates the battery when you plug it in. I did mine using the remote and drone (didn't use DJI Assistant 2) over WiFi and then after it completed, put in the first battery. It warned of an incompatibility issue, then had me slide a button for update, which started at 44% and was very quick. Necessary Tools and Drivers

1. Internet access.
2. USB-C cable.
3. DJI Assistant 2 For Mavic software.
4. Computer with Windows 7/8/10 onboard.

Firmware reflashes on the drone will erase all of your data.

Hard Reset, Firmware update / reflash / downgrade manual for DJI Mavic Mini

When you're ready you can follow this simple manual.

1. Download and install DJI Assistant on computer.
2. Turn on the DJI Assistant on computer.
3. Connect DJI drone to USB-C cable and to computer.
4. Next press the power button on DJI drone, then again press and hold the power button until see that DJI drone will turn on and warm up.
5. Then on DJI Assistant show DJI drone icon.
6. Tap on it, then tap on firmware update box.
7. Use the reflash button to change firmware in DJI drone or factory reset it.
8. Next, wait until all process ends with success with communicating in DJI Assistance software.

Excellent job, factory reset, firmware update, firmware reflash is finished.

This morning, DJI releases a new firmware update for the DJI Mavic Air. The firmware, unfortunately, does not include any new or improved features this time. What is it does do however is solve an issue when operating the DJI Mavic Air and its remote controller in Panama. I have no idea why there would be an issue flying your DJI Mavic Air in Panama, but it should be solved now. • Make sure you update the DJI GO 4 app to the latest 4.3.0 version or higher before updating the firmware.
• Once the firmware has been updated, it cannot be downgraded to a former version. Restart the aircraft and remote controller after the upgrade is complete.
• Please note that the firmware update may reset various Main Controller Settings, such as the RTH Altitude and Maximum Flight Distance, to factory defaults. Before the update, take note of your preferred DJI GO 4 settings, and readjust them after the update to suit your preference.
• This firmware update resets the camera settings.
• If the firmware upgrade fails, restart aircraft, remote controller and DJI GO 4 or DJI Assistant 2, and retry.
